I’ve been photographing weddings since 2017. Several years in, I realized that photographing large weddings and directing almost every moment was really burning me out. Since I was little, I’ve been a natural observer and have loved exploring the outdoors. Now I realize that the intimacy and adventure of smaller weddings and elopements is what I’m drawn to, and the natural simplicity of documenting unscripted moments actually results in more genuine and beautiful photos than if I direct every single moment.
