    You can apply for a marriage license at any county registrar’s office in Minnesota.
    • There is no waiting period to get your marriage license in Minnesota, so you can get married the same day you apply for it!
    • The license is valid for six months from the date of issue.
    • You’ll need government-issued photo IDs and social security numbers.
    • The cost for your license is $115. Some counties offer a discount if you complete premarital counseling.
  • Officiants:
    Minnesota allows any ordained minister, court administrator, or judge to officiate weddings. I am also ordained and can officiate your elopement!
  • Witnesses:
    Minnesota requires two witnesses who are at least 16 years old.
