Kayla and Levi had such a beautiful and emotional September wedding in Green Bay, WI. There were so many memorable moments throughout the day that I will never forget. They put so much intentionality into every detail of their wedding day, one of those details being the property they decided to get married at. On the property, there was a beautiful pond right outside where the ceremony was held for everyone to see. Kayla’s mom passed away a few years ago and her ashes were spread over this pond. Her mom had plenty of good talks there with Levi before she passed. Her mom’s greatest wish was to see Kayla married and she really hoped to live to see it. Getting married on this property was the perfect way for Kayla to grant that wish. A part of her was there with Kayla and Levi as they celebrated their love story on this very day. They are such bright, energetic people and their wedding day was so full of emotion and joy.

Rain or Shine, the Wedding Goes On!

Right before the ceremony, it started raining, so Kayla and Levi had to bring the ceremony into their reception tent. The Green Bay, WI rain couldn’t stop them from having a wonderful wedding day. Throughout the ceremony, there were moments between the couple and their families that made this wedding so memorable. Kayla’s step father and biological father walked her down the aisle, which was extremely special considering how involved they both are in her life. During Kayla and Levi’s first dance, they picked a song dedicated to Kayla’s mom. It’s called My Maria by Brooks and Dunn. She sang this song to Kayla as a baby and throughout her life as well. She would always change the words to Kayla Maria because Marie is Kayla’s middle name. It was such an emotional moment and the perfect way to honor her mom during the ceremony.

Joyful Wedding Moments in Green Bay, WI

Kayla and Levi added so much laughter and joy to their wedding day. When everyone was dancing, Kayla had cut-outs of her friend’s children and pets to surprise them. Their friends absolutely loved it! She also had blow up guitars and microphones for their guests to have some fun with. The whole room lit up with excitement as they had an epic dance party with the bride and groom. They even had trap shooting for their guests to enjoy during cocktail hour. Another fun detail Kayla and Levi included was their Guest Book. They used a company called After The Tone. They send you an old rotary dial phone so the guests can pick up the phone and “leave a message” for the bride and groom. After the wedding, they get their sweet messages on vinyl as well as a digital copy to hold onto!
